MANIFESTO // Auriga Partners, a committed player Since its beginnings in 1998 as a pioneer in the venture capital industry in France, Auriga Partners has always been committed to making its investment practice consistent with the humanistic values of integrity, respect and tolerance. Responsible investment is part of Auriga Partners' DNA and is seen as a living work that must be constantly refined, improved and taken to the next level. Among the significant milestones on this path, the formalization in 2012 of an initial annual ESG reporting to establish a diagnosis of practices and the integration of ESG criteria of portfolio companies. Over the past three years, Auriga Partners has further intensified its efforts. On the one hand, by implementing a process of continuous improvement in its investment practices, and on the other hand, by directing its funds' investment policy very directly towards impact companies. Pilot" initiatives have been launched since 2017 to implement this policy. In the Luxury universe, the FPCI Luxury Tech Fund (2017) and Cuir Invest (2019) are targeted theme funds that strive to address the major ESG issues in the Luxury and Leather sectors through innovation. The first investments made, as an illustration here, in the second-hand and circular economy (Vestiaire Collective), the recycling of leather waste (Authentic Material), laboratory diamonds (Diam Concept) or industrial relocation (ASF 4.0 in footwear) reflect Auriga Partners' deliberate desire to address disruptive high-impact issues. Always with particular attention to gender diversity in terms of governance. The first "pilot" portfolios constituted reflect a state of mind that is true to Auriga Partners' DNA and set a guideline for future larger funds. The document that can be downloaded below "Commitment to social Responsibility" highlights Auriga Partner's policy towards promoting to its portfolio companies a Responsible, Social and Governance (ESG) approach.
